Preparation:
Preheat the oven
Preheat the oven to 180 °C (top/bottom heat)
Prepare the spice mix
In a bowl, mix together the olive oil, paprika powder, chilli flakes, garlic powder, salt and sugar.
Marinate the nuts
Add the nuts to the spice mixture and mix well so that all the nuts are evenly coated.
Bake
Spread the nuts on a baking tray lined with baking paper. If desired, add sprigs of rosemary for extra flavour. Roast in the oven for approx. 10-12 minutes, turning halfway through so that they brown evenly
.
Leave to cool
Remove the nuts from the oven and leave to cool completely before serving.
Serving
Serve in a bowl and garnish with fresh herbs as desired.
