Preparation:
Prepare the chickpeas
Put the chickpeas in a sieve, rinse thoroughly and drain well. Pat dry with a kitchen towel to make them crispy in the oven

Preheat the oven
Preheat the oven to 200 °C (top/bottom heat)
Seasoning
Place the chickpeas in a bowl and mix with olive oil, paprika powder, cumin, garlic powder, chilli flakes and salt until evenly coated.
Baking
Place the spiced chickpeas on a baking tray lined with baking paper and spread evenly. Roast in the preheated oven for around 25-30 minutes, turning every 10 minutes so that they become crispy all over.
Leave to cool
Remove the chickpeas from the oven and leave to cool completely so that they retain their crispiness.
Serve
Serve in a bowl and garnish with fresh herbs as desired.
